About Us

The Stove Room Cardiff is an independent retailer of wood burning and multi-fuel stoves. The business is Hetas approved with a Gas Safe accreditation.

Hands on owner Carlton Chivers, has worked in the heating industry for many years and in response to being told regularly by his customers, how difficult it was for them to find great looking log burners, multi-fuel stoves and accessories. Carlton set up The Stove Room Cardiff to offer a full design and installation service. With its own team of approved and very experienced Hetas engineers.

What is HETAS?

HETAS are the official body recognised by the government to approve biomass and solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services including the registration of competent installers and servicing businesses.

The Stove Room Cardiff /Chivers Restoration is a HETAS registered company. We ensure that our employees are trained and certified by HETAS, this enables us to carry out the installation of solid fuel appliances (including log & wood burning stoves) and associated chimney works.

Logs

We can supply logs in any quantity, our logs are of the highest quality and have been seasoned to allow for a clean burn.

Heat Logs

The Stove Room Cardiff are official UK distributors of ‘UK Heat Logs’.UK Heatlogs are a cleaner and greener alternative to other fossil fuels as they are carbon neutral. This means that the carbon released from the briquettes when they burn is equivalent to the carbon absorbed during the growth of the wood. Our briquettes are made in Herefordshire from locally sourced, environmentally friendly and 100% clean, recycled sawdust and wood waste.

Log Baskets

We stock a range of Log Baskets that are perfect for keeping logs indoors for burning or decoration purposes.

Valiant Stove Fans

We are proud to introduce the Valiant Stove Fans at the Stove Room this handy little invention sits on top of your stove and circulates the heat produced by your burner.

The Stove Room Cardiff offers its clients a comprehensive range of design and installation services:

Supply only of a great selection of stoves: both wood burning and multi-fuel ( coal and timber)
Design & installation of bespoke chimneys and flues in accordance with Hetas guidelines and membership.
Design and production of both slate and glass hearths
Design and installation of interior elements such as slate tiling to both walls and floors
Design and installation of bespoke timber beams and lintels
Design and modification of chimney breast
Design and construction of bespoke slate kitchen and bar worktops
Design and construction of bespoke granite kitchen and bar worktops
Design and manufacture of bespoke slate floor tiles for both inside and outside your home
